Back in 2007 we helped local youth event 'Teenage Kicks' with a web-based system to count and track entry to the event.

The TK Card System The TK Card System

In 2007 local under 18s event 'Teenage Kicks' was faced with the problem of being rather popular, with more than 200 young people attending each event.

A solution was required to help track entry in order to comply with child protection, fire safety policies and generally manage the mass of attendees.

The solution we provided was a web-based system which assigns a number, and nicely designed membership card, to each attendee.

At the start of each event, any new members could be quickly added to the system and a card assigned to them. The queue could then be quickly signed into the event simply by providing their 4-digit number.

In addition, the system also reportes a number of useful statistics, such as average age at the event, the percentage who left before the end of the event, and a random number generator used for prize giveaways!

Since we were dealing with such sensitive data, the system was entirely secured with an SSL certificate.

Not only did Resound Design create a custom door entry system for our event, but they did so in super-quick time, suggesting and incorporating many features that we had not even thought of.
